At Practical Apothecary, every item is crafted with care and intention. Because we value quality over mass production, please note that not all items are kept in constant stock — many are made to order, personalized, or custom-tailored to meet your specific needs.

Processing & Production Time

• Made-to-Order Items: Many of our herbal, bath, and skincare products are blended or poured fresh once your order is placed. Please allow 3–7 business days for production prior to shipment.

• Personalized or Custom Items: If your order includes a product tailored to your scent, skin type, or packaging preferences, production may take up to 10 business days before shipping.

• Ready-to-Ship Items: In-stock products typically leave our workshop within 2–3 business days.

We take pride in small-batch craftsmanship — this process ensures every order is handled with care, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Shipping Times

Once your order has been completed and shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Shipping times vary by carrier and destination, but most orders within the U.S. arrive within 3–5 business days after dispatch.

Please keep in mind that processing and shipping times are separate. Custom orders require additional preparation time before leaving our studio.

Combined Orders

If your order contains both in-stock and made-to-order items, your shipment may be held until all products are ready, or sent in multiple packages at our discretion. You’ll be notified if your order ships in more than one parcel.

Delays & Updates

Because we work in small batches and use natural ingredients, seasonal availability or curing times may occasionally cause slight delays. We’ll always communicate openly and keep you informed about your order’s progress.
